The Pet Vet Lincoln are thrilled to be joined by their new Head Vet, Dr James Cook MRCVS.
In addition to being a highly experienced surgeon and GP, James is introducing a new orthobiologic treatment to support the treatment of pets with inflammatory conditions that affect joints, such as osteoarthritis. This is in the form of platelet-rich plasma injections, which involves using a pet’s own blood to reduce inflammation and prolong longevity of diseased joints. In addition to assisting in the treatment of inflammatory conditions, it can also support bone regeneration after a fracture.
James says: “It’s a pleasure to join the team at The Pet Vet Lincoln. We’re able to offer an extensive range of services and treatments, delivered by our team who are knowledgeable, passionate, and care deeply about providing the very best care to every pet that comes through our doors.”
Dr Mel Fuller, CEO at The Pet Vet, says: “We’re delighted to have James as the newest member of our Lincoln team, and we’re eager to observe the therapeutic potential platelet-rich plasma injections can offer our patients.
“The Pet Vet Lincoln is the newest practice in our independent, family-owned group of 12 surgeries, and investment in our facilities and equipment has been significant. Under James’ leadership, our Lincoln surgery will deliver the highest quality patient care and customer service, spearheading veterinary excellence in the Lincolnshire region.”
The Pet Vet Lincoln are currently accepting new registrations and welcome anyone looking for expert veterinary care in the Lincoln area to come and visit.
